This school serves children ages 2 1/2 to 6. The administrative and teaching staff are truly exceptional. My son has grown academically and socially in leaps and bounds. French language is also part of the curriculum. Would highly recommend this school to anyone looking for a MUCH better option to daycare (in my opinion) as well as continued development after that point. The fees are also much more competitive than other ones in the area I investigated. We will definitely stay here until he graduates and moves on.

Excellent school! Our daughter attended it since she was two and half and just graduated this month. We sincerely appreciate the education and care provided. Also we were amazed by the improvement of the child! To summarize. Yorktown has: 1. Highly professional teachers and staff who truly spent the time and effort to build the bonding with the child and parents. Our daughter at one time had some communication issue. The teachers were very patient and tried very hard to understand her and build up the channel. Our daughter commented that she loved to talk to her teachers (while most of the time she felt frustrated when communicating to others) 2. Tailored education based on their understanding of the child. The teachers worked closely with us so that we all understand the strength, weakness and issues of the child. Due to our daughter's communication issue, we had so many meetings with different types of professionals and special trainers. The teachers even incorporated suggestions from the special trainers into the daily teaching activities to help our daughter. 3. Emphasis on leadership, independence, responsibility and confidence. We saw dramatic change/improvement of our daughter in the last 3 years, especially the last year! The child came out of her shell and blossomed! This is not only due to the continuous effort of the school but also due to the fact that the 3rd year of the Montessori program is critical. For those of you who are familiar with Montessori program, it's grouped by children across three years. In the 3rd year, the student becomes the 'senior' one in the class and is given lots of opportunity to help and lead the younger classmates. So for those of you who have sent your child to Montessori for the first two years, please don't miss the 3rd year since it is the time to harvest!! Great job Yorktown!

My daughter is going to this school from past six months, from the age of 3 and I have seen tremendous improvement in her. Previously she was not able to express her thoughts in language. But now she is able to. Apart from the language part, she has improved in many skills. And this is because of the dedicated teachers in school. They are very loving and caring. And, the best part is that my daughter is very happy with this school, which makes me happy as well. So, in my opinion it will be great idea to send your child to this school.
