West End Parents’ Daycare is a safe, secure, supportive and stimulating environment where children are free to grow to their full potential. Quality, fun, and affordable child care serving Toronto, Ontario, Canada. We’re also looking for help with the Garden Project (please see Sam for more on that). Thanks to all of the parents and staff who attended the recent AGM. It was terrific to have such a good turnout despite the rain. Sharpen your crayons! The SILENT AUCTION is happening in conjunction with our Spring into Summer Garden Potluck. Affordable, Quality Child Care in Toronto's Downtown West End. A collection of novels from an award winning Canadian author. A collection of 6-9 new hardcover books, including the new Yann Martel. Class photos will be taken from 4 – 5 pm (part time families, please joing us on this date and time so you don’t miss out on the memories). Here’s a sneak peek at the items we have up for auction so far:. It promises to be a great fundraiser for our kids. Next Board meeting August 12th at 6pm! All parents are welcome…. Family photos are taken by booking a timeslot with Rick (cost is $40). Our photographer is Jenna Muirhead — she’s one of our parents and she’s been doing this fundraiser for WEPD for a few years. Please join the West End Parents on May 7, 2010, for a potluck (nut-free items please) in our front playground from 5pm – 8pm. Please speak with Rick or parent Melana Janzen if you have any donation ideas. The great weather is coming and school is almost over — never a better time for a party!. In the meantime, if you haven’t already, please let the centre know when your child will be taking time away from WEPD this summer — just drop Rick. We’ll pick up your kids (from WEPD), feed and entertain them. There will be music — bring your instruments and join the jam! Interested musicians, please. Come to the office and bid on the great donations we’ve received so far (or kindly offer a donation of your own). Rick has emailed a copy of his Director’s Report to parents — if you didn’t receive it or would like to have a look at a paper copy, please see Rick in the office. August 2nd 2010 for the Civic Holiday, open for regular program on Tuesday August 3rd at 8am……
