Concerned parent
My child attended this daycare last year for a few months. It was the worst four months as he cried every morning when we dropped him off for a few hours at a time. I was not sure if my child was having seperation anxiety issues or if it was the daycare itself that he was not adjusting to. I changed him to another daycare which is a well known daycare with great ratings and what a change. From day one, he did not cry and adapted very well to the daycare and staff. This tells a lot. At Garderie La Chenille, The staff was not very affectionate and friendly with the children nor was very friendly with parents. They did not encourage potty training so he was no longer potty trained once he started at this daycare. I regret not making a complaint with the province so this is why I wish to write my concerns on this site. I would usually not write these comments on a website but I always felt bad that I had not expressed my concerns about this daycare given that I know that other parents will be bringing their children there. Another concern, is that the children did not go outdoors to play very often, not as much activities and the food was not as healthy as it should be. The rooms are small. Owner was defensive when I shared my concerns with her. This is a flag.

Hi, I have only one comment it's the worst daycare I ever seen. there is no activities, the classrooms are small and dark, only conserve and junk food are served to our children. The staff is unprofessional and will do everything to make sure that the owner is happy and not the kids and thier parents. In the winter there is no outside activities. extreamly bad....

je suis d'accord avec tout les mauvaises commentaires qui ont ete mi sur ce site et sur dautres sites.concernant cette garderie,jai eu une mauvaise experience avec elle, meme les employes qui travaillé chez elle mont raconté des mauvaises choses, et je vous dit le probleme est avec la proprietaire de la garderie.tout son probleme cest largent..jai changé mon fils dans une autre garderie...et je vous dis pas combien c'est different, mon pauvre enfant été dans l'enfer... Je ne vous conseille pas damener votre fils labas

Vous pensez au debut que vous etes dans un milieu ou tu peux donner confiance pour laisser votre fils mais malheureusement non, moi personnelement jai eu une mauvaise experience..Maintenant il est dans une autre garderie et je vous dit pas combien il est bien, jai pu voir la grande difference et je regrette les 3 mois quil a passe dans cette garderie....
