Their friendly, well-trained staff has taught my child many things that I wouldn’t have the patience to teach at home. Things like naming the planets in the solar system or making “robot suits” out of recycled materials, for example. One day, I discovered several youngsters huddled together and closely observing a bearded dragon in a fish tank (this lizard was brought in by one of the student teachers). They also offer several fields trips throughout the year, like blueberry picking, visit to the local farm, and trips to the pumpkin patch. Those are pretty cool activities for youngsters.
