Catharina has been in the field of Early Childhood Education since 2001 and has worked in both preschool and family childcare settings. She has three grown children of her own and lives in the Surrey community. Bluebird Childcare Centre is owned and operated by Catharina Christiaanse and was first opened in September 2004. She is a Licensed Early Childhood Educator, holds an emergency Child Care First Aid and CPR Certificate and has submitted to a full Criminal Record Check. Bluebird Childcare Centre provides full-time and part-time daycare in a safe and comfortable home-like setting. Our mission is to provide a nurturing childcare environment in which children can develop freely at their own pace. Catharina brings her passion for the arts, literature and storytelling to the program. We offer an integrated preschool program and are licensed to care for eight children between the ages of twelve months to six years
